Can ASL work weekends?

Yes. Many homes and businesses have routines ASL work at weekends or evenings. Depending on the type of job, there can be increased noise levels. Please check with your local council if this may cause any problems.

Do I need planning permission & buildings control?

Maybe. Some of the building projects such as home extensions will require planning permission via the Brighton & Hove City Council building control department. Most of the project works like small interior alterations and property maintenance can be carried out without planning under Permitted development.

Does ASL help with planning applications?

Yes we can. It’s the customers responsibility for seeking, or not seeking planning permission. If required ASL Building Services can organise and liaise on your behalf with your Brighton & Hove building control department throughout the period of the project, ensuring checks are made, permissions received and all building regulations are adhered to.

How much is the work going to cost?

Average cost. We are confident that we are just below the average cost for the various trades in Brighton. We don’t employ dedicated project managers. We do have a local team. We can save you money by purchasing trade materials. We do not charge VAT. We will quote on the work before a project or maintenance works are started, so you will not receive any hidden extra costs. The formula for ASL’s track record of success is response > service > quality. Check our reviews.
